  Clive Sharples

  Senior Partner

  Clive Sharples qualified as a solicitor in 1974 and worked with firms in The City of London for 25 years before co-founding Riseam Sharples in 1997. Clive has now been practicing in the West End of London for over 13 years.

  Clive’s original area of expertise was facilitating the purchase of sites for redevelopment and in so doing he acted for most of the major developers in the South of England. In 1987 Clive started to become involved with acting for offshore investor purchasers acquiring off plan residential property in Central London.  He ceased acting for developers in 1993 to concentrate more specifically in acting for offshore investors and continued to do so culminating in the setting-up of Riseam Sharples in 1997 as a firm concentrating in this area of business.

  2011 will be Clive’s 25^th year acting for investors based in the Far East.

  Manisha Bhati

  Partner

  Manisha trained with Riseam Sharples having first joined them in Autumn 2002 as a Legal Assistant. She was seconded to Phillipsohn Crawfords Berwald to complete her contentious seat and qualified with Riseam Sharples in Autumn 2004. Manisha speaks Hindi fluently.

  She is now a Partner at Riseam Sharples as from 1^st December 2010.

  Julia Caveller

  Partner

  Julia read Law at UCL and studied for her Legal Practice Course part-time at the College of Law in London while working as a trainee solicitor at Riseam Sharples. She joined the firm in 2001 and was seconded to Phillipsohn Crawfords Berwald to complete her training.  Julia qualified in 2004 and was made a Partner in 2007.

  Siow Lim

  Partner

  Siow trained with Lawson Turner & Gilbert and qualified in 2006. She joined Riseam Sharples in the autumn of that same year. She is now a Partner at Riseam Sharples as from 1^st December 2010.  Siow Lim speaks fluent Mandarin and Cantonese.

  Thiara Rehman

  Partner

  Thiara trained with Healys Solicitors and qualified in 2003. She joined Riseam Sharples in the autumn of that same year and became a Partner in 2007. Thiara is fluent in Urdu and Punjabi.

  Ashleigh McIntyre

  Solicitor

  After completing her law degree, Ashley worked in the law for 3 years before joining Riseam Sharples as a trainee in 2009.  She was seconded to Howard Kennedy in 2010 and returned to Riseam Sharples as a qualified solicitor in January 2011.

  Tom trained with Riseam Sharples having first joined them in autumn 2003 as a Legal Assistant. He was seconded to Caporn Campbell in 2005 (prior to the firm’s merger with Russell-Cooke in 2006) to complete his contentious seat and qualified with Riseam Sharples in 2006.

  Jacqueline joined Riseam Sharples in June 2005 as Legal Assistant to Julia Caveller and Thiara Rehman.  Whilst working for Riseam Sharples she has completed her Law Degree and is currently studying for her LPC while working full-time with the firm.

  Hayley Marler

  Trainee Solicitor

  Hayley graduated in 2007 with a degree in Law and Politics before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at The College of Law. Hayley joined Riseam Sharples as a paralegal in April 2010 and commenced her Training Contract in October 2010.

  Diane Scullion

  Personal Assistant and Legal Secretary to the Senior Partner

  Diane joined Riseam Sharples in January 2004 as a legal secretary to Clive Sharples.  She started her career in 1998 on joining a law firm in Northern Ireland which dealt with conveyancing, matrimonial and family, probate and litigation matters before moving to London in 2004.

  Helen Elstow

  Legal Assistant

  Helen joined Riseam Sharples in 2001 after a break to raise her family.  Initially working alongside Colin Riseam, one of the co-founders of Riseam Sharples, following his retirement she now assists Julia Caveller and Thiara Rehman. Previously Helen worked in a conveyancing team at Farrer & Co in London.

  Zuraida Zainol-Rashid

  Legal Assistant and Post-Completions Manager

  Zuraida was formerly a Legal Assistant with Lawson Turner & Gilbert Solicitors since 2000 and then Tudor Rose Solicitors since 2004, both dealing with residential and commercial conveyancing matters. She joined Riseam Sharples in 2007 and is now overseeing all Post-Completion matters within the firm. Zuraida is fluent in Malay.

  Graham Broadbent

  Senior Accounts Manager

  Graham trained as a Legal Cashier with Farrer & Co from 1985 and finally left them in 1998 to join Riseam Sharples and Fok as Accounts Manager. In 1999 he then joined Laserform (now IRIS) where he had various Managerial roles before setting up his own Accounting and Consultancy Company. Riseam Sharples welcomed Graham back as their Senior Accountant in 2007.

  Kayley Moore

  Legal Cashier

  Kayley is a part qualified accountant having studied foundation and intermediate levels of AAT. Kayley trained as a legal cashier with Cook Taylor Woodhouse Solicitors in 2008, before joining Riseam Sharples in January 2010.

  Muhammad Ali

  Office Administrator

  Ali joined Riseam Sharples as an Office Administrator in 2006, left and again joined in 2008. Ali started his career as Steno/PA from Higher Education Commission, Islamabad Pakistan in 1985. He served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad, Pakistan as Office Administrator from 1986-1999 and  then worked  as admin assistant  in the Pakistan High Commission, London from 2000-2005. Ali is fluent in Urdu and Punjabi.
